Join educator teams from across the country at the Educator Team Institute — an interactive virtual professional learning event hosted by the Next Education Workforce™ initiative — designed to help school teams lay the groundwork for a strong and successful school year.

The Institute is designed for educator teams preparing to implement team-based models in the upcoming school year. Sessions will focus on building strong team culture and deepening understanding of key practices that make teaming effective. Over the course of the event, educator teams will lay the foundation for a successful year by:

  • Strengthening team culture
  • Creating a vision for learners
  • Ensuring educator expertise is fully leveraged to support student learning
  • Developing plans for the essential structures and systems that support team-based staffing

The event features sessions aligned to core elements of the Next Education Workforce model, offering participants the chance to learn directly from seasoned educators with deep experience in team-based models with topics that cover:

Yes, this experience is designed for full teams to participate together. Attending as a team ensures meaningful collaboration and planning during sessions.

The multi-day, virtual professional learning experience covers various topics, including building team culture and developing essential structures and systems that will enable educators to distribute their expertise and personalize student learning.

The event offers participants the chance to learn directly from seasoned educators with deep experience in team-based models.

Each day includes a combination of synchronous sessions and flexible team time. A detailed schedule will be shared closer to the event.

Core sessions will be live and interactive. Select content may be recorded and shared afterward, but full participation is strongly encouraged.

This institute is intended for teams that are actively preparing to implement team-based models in the fall. If you’re still exploring teams but not yet ready to launch in the fall, we recommend attending a different readiness-focused event or reaching out for coaching options.
